What is a VIP?

VIP: Victims Impact Panels & Victims Impact Statement

A victim impact panel is made of individuals who have been personally affected by the harmful decisions of another person. Panels are administered in a traditional class-like setting. Attendees listen while a host of panelists speak. Our goal is to provide a platform that amplifies victims’ voices in hopes of a better tomorrow. VIP is an effective method of preventing recidivism and providing education on the harmful impacts caused by drunk and drugged driving and domestic violence and intimate partner violence.

Understanding court acceptance policies is vital. Each court determines the mode of acceptability for mandated courses, often overseen by judges, probation officers, attorneys, clerks, and court administrators. While Edu4Court's programs meet general approval standards, final course acceptance is at the discretion of the Judge.
